Ina Boyle Society seeking part-time Coordinator

The Ina Boyle Society was founded by Katie Rowan in 2020 to champion the music of Ina Boyle and of other  neglected Irish composers, particularly women, whose music deserves to be heard more widely. The IBS obtained charitable status in the UK in 2022.

We are seeking to appoint a Coordinator who will enable the IBS to meet the increasing interest in Ina Boyle’s life and music, as reflected in the growing number of performances, broadcasts and premiere recordings of her orchestral, vocal and chamber works, both in the UK and internationally.

The Coordinator will work closely with the Chair and the Board of Trustees, as part of a small and supportive team, developing and implementing IBS initiatives and projects, maintaining and promoting the IBS web and social media profile, and responding to approaches and enquiries to the IBS.

The role is offered on a freelance basis and allows for considerable flexibility in the organisation of the working week. The position would be particularly suitable for someone with experience of the classical music world, as well as someone who is interested in an opportunity to contribute to the development of the IBS at a key time of growth and change.
