Where the Heart Roams is a pastoral-themed album and recital programme exploring ideas of home, roots, memory, and belonging. The programme weaves together British and Irish art song by composers including Ina Boyle, Rebecca Clarke, Muriel Herbert, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, alongside Lucy's own original works, positioning her as both soprano and composer within this musical lineage. Recorded with Prima Facie Records, the album reflects a dialogue between tradition and personal voice, moving from landscape-inspired reflection to more intimate, autobiographical moments, and concluding with a sense of warmth, companionship, and connection.
The album will be released on CD and via streaming services on the day of the recital, 16 April, and copies of the CD will be available for purchase and signing on the night.
