Ina Boyle features in Galway Culture Night

Irish Soprano, Helen Hancock, will bring Ina Boyle songs to life at an upcoming Galway Culture Night recital, on Friday 18th September in Galway City Museum.

’A Journey Around the EU in Song’ will include Boyle’s ‘The Stolen Child’ and ‘The Joy of Earth’.


In this operatic performance, themes of mythical creatures (Inspired by The Crane), travel (inspired by The Galway Hooker), love death/memory (inspired by The Funeral Pall) and love (inspired by The Claddagh Ring) will be explored by soprano Helen Hancock with Ramin Haghjoo, piano, through songs and arias from Ireland, Austria, Germany, Czechia, France, Italy, Hungary from composers including Mozart, Strauss, Wagner, Fauré, Duparc, Lehár, Dvořák, Thomas Moore, and Ina Boyle.

This event will take place in the Monument exhibition gallery on Level 0.
