Greystones Orchestra
The Greystones Orchestra will perform Ina Boyle’s ‘Elegy’ in Bray in 2027!
The concert offers a distinct local connection. Ina Boyle lived in Enniskerry, spent her final years in Greystones, and composed much of her work from her home in the Wicklow countryside.
Written in 1913, Elegy is a lyrical work for solo cello and orchestra. Hearing it performed by a Greystones ensemble just a few miles from where Boyle lived and worked makes for a fitting tribute to the area's musical history.
